Accessibility statement

Momsora should be usable by everyone. Here is where we stand, what we know is imperfect, and how to tell us about a barrier.

Our commitment

We build shop.momsora.in to be usable by as many people as possible, including those using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification or reduced motion.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

What we have done

Measures already in place across the shop:

  • Semantic HTML with proper headings, landmarks and labelled form fields.
  • Full keyboard navigation with visible focus outlines on every interactive element.
  • Tap and click targets of at least 44 by 44 pixels on mobile.
  • Text and interface colours tested for contrast against our ivory and cream backgrounds.
  • Descriptive alternative text on product and editorial imagery.
  • Layouts that reflow to 320 pixels and support browser zoom to 200 percent.
  • Respect for the operating system's reduced-motion setting.

Where we fall short

Being honest about the gaps:

  • Some older product images may still carry generic alternative text.
  • Arabic and mixed right-to-left text is not yet perfectly handled in every component.
  • Third-party screens, such as the payment gateway and courier tracking, are outside our control and we cannot guarantee their accessibility.
  • Complex screens such as the gift-box builder are still being refined for screen-reader use.
